Welcome to the homepage of Zeloso.
Zeloso Wind Orchestra was founded in June 1994 by people who zealously loved music as the meaning of the musical expression "zeloso."
We are a musical community with its doors opening wide to anyone who loves music, transcending age, schooling, and profession. People from various sectors of society ranging from elementary school students to housewives, office workers, professors, doctors and business people enjoy playing the music as part of Zeloso. In addition, there are many family members.
As you may know, the scope of music a wind ensemble can express is very wide with delicate technical skills of woodwinds, loud and vibrant music of brass instruments and diverse rhythms expressed by percussion instruments.
Zeloso pursues not only classical music but a wide variety of genres of music like pop, jazz, and film music. Through intensive individual practice and ensemble plays, Zeloso Wind Orchestra is endeavoring to maintain highest musical standards.
Since its foundation, Zeloso has held annual regular concerts, charity and special concerts and participated in various commemorative concerts. Among them are concerts celebrating the 60th anniversay of Korea's liberation from Japan in 2005, the 2002 World Cup Soccer, and the Asia-Pacific Brass Festival in Jeju Island in 2004.
All the members of Zeloso are making their best to make the orchestra an organization loved by people. To join Zeloso, basic playing skills for any instrument is required. A Zeloso member is obliged to participate in the regular practicing sessions on Sundays from 3-6 p.m. and pay a monthly membership fee of 70,000 won(30,000 won for student members).
Any inquiries regarding activities of Zeloso and membership are welcomed. Please contact Chris Lee at +82-10-2923-2408 or send e-mail via firstname.lastname@example.org.
